12" Woven Bowl - Zuba
The Local + Lejos Zuba Bowl is appropriately named after the Kinyarwanda word for sun. Perfect for keys by the front door or as part of an intricate wall collage, the Zuba Bowl is sure to be a household favourite.
We've partnered with SOKO Home to bring Bermuda a collection of handwoven bowls that connect gift recipients to the beauty of African culture, communities, and people.
Each handwoven bowl features intricate patterns, beautiful colours, and exceptional craftsmanship. These bowls are sure to inspire awe during any gift-giving occasion.
The Zuba Bowl is made by artisans from the Abizeranye Cooperative in Rwanda. Their woven bowls stand out among others because of the care and time put into crafting each one. With every stitch, the artisans have their families in mind. Abizeranye members have overcome significant obstacles and thus chose to name themselves People Who Trust One Another. These neighbours, friends and sisters strive to be a unified group around their craft and vision for a brighter future.
